what I did on my spring vacation, lol!!

Happy Easter everyone and welcome to my blog.  I have been very busy in my craft room this week as I had a week left to take off of work before the next vacation period begins.
I have decorated a note book, assembled my first Paper Pumpkin kit, made some cards to put in my newly (almost) decorated card keeper, cased a very lovely card design from Heather Summers over at Stamp with Heather http://stampwithheather.typepad.com/stamp_with_heather/ for my grandmother`s 93rd birthday (pictured above), prepared a few thank you gifts for my Stampin`Up! clients and made a necklace for my cousin using Simply Adorned products (retired).
I switched up the design from the Paper Pumpkin kit just a bit on three of the cards, so that they would not all be the same.

This is my notebook that I decorated using the Tea for Two designer series paper, Tea Time Trinkets, Paper doilies, Early Espresso Baker`s Twine and
the Oh, Hello stamp set and the Ovals framelits dies.

This is my card keeper.  SU! no longer sells the kit, I have had it sitting on a shelf waiting for more than a year!  I used my all time favourite dsp, Spice Cake to decorate the box, as well as a Soft Suede label using a framelit from the Apothecary Accents kit.  I am in the process of colouring some flowers in Pool Party ink to add a flower to the right hand side of the label.

So, after more than a year of trying to break into my own blog (yeah, I am one of those people who forgets her password) I had to rename my blog and start again.  I was told that if I opened a g-mail e-mail account that it would help... unfortunately it did not and to be honest, it caused even more problems for me. the fact that I had a hotmail account associated with a blogspot blog totally confused the security people and they would not help me access my blog.
getting back to the topic, I am really excited to get back into posting my Stampin`Up! projects with you and sharing our amazing products. In my opinion, Stampin`Up! offers the best line of card stock, ink, stamp sets, punches, ribbon, Big Shot products, etc.  Here are some pictures of what I made for my cousin and his wife for their newborn son.  The pictures were not taken with blogging in mind, so please ignore all the background images.

I love making shadow box pages for original baby gifts.  They are a great way to express your creativity and make excellent gifts for your family and friends.
Thanks for looking and check back soon!!
